Hi, my name is Lanza.

I have always been in the middle of a craft project, since I was a kid.

I learned to sew at an early age, starting with Barbie clothes, but I usually had a side craft project in the wings. In the meantime, my sewing for Barbie dolls soon evolved into sewing for myself. After getting married and starting a family I enjoyed sewing for our children until they were “too old” for hand sewn clothing (except for Halloween costumes, of course!).

After I had worked for twelve years at The Western, husband Ben and I decided our kids were growing up too fast and it was time for me to be a stay-at-home mom. While at home in the mid-80’s with our two little ones, I continued to sew, scrapbook, and make crafts.

My very first craft show was hosted by my neighbor and friend, Diane, at her encouragement. That first show led to a partnership with my friend Doris where we designed wooden country crafts when it was all the rage. Later, after our third little one arrived, my crafting returned to fabric, in the form of dolls, bunnies, snowmen, Santas, and angels.

My obsession with Stampin’ Up! products began in the fall of 2000 when my friend Velvet invited several of us to her party. I handcrafted all of our Christmas cards for the first time that year! Ever since that first party, I have been making and giving countless greeting cards. No more dreaded searches in the card department!

For 20 years, it has been my pleasure to make cards and treat boxes on special occasions for loved ones, friends, and coworkers, along with the occasional request for a special project, costume, or wooden ornament.
